Here is a detailed step-by-step guide that will take you through the installation of your HP6000ZB-GE ductless heat pump interface.
The installation of the ductless heat pump interface must be performed by a qualified professional. Otherwise, it may result in personal injury and/or damage.
Make sure that the breakers for your heating system are off at the main electrical panel to avoid any risk of electric shock.
Open the front panel of the indoor unit.
Remove the screw(s) to access the electrical box, then remove the cover. Locate the Wi-Fi connector and cable.
Remove the wire clip.
Route the interface wire into the electrical box and
connect it to the unit’s Wi-Fi connector.
Place the interface on the mounting location.
Secure the interface with the provided screw.
The interface mounting location varies from model to model. Here are the common mounting locations. Choose the one that best fits your model.
Note: The Wi-Fi module wire must be routed through the wire channel; otherwise, the electrical box cover will not close properly.
Replace the electrical box cover and secure it with a screw.
Power up the heat pump.
