Yes, the Sinopé water leak detector emits an audible alarm and automatically closes the connected valve in case of a leak. Without an internet connection, no email, SMS, or push notification is sent.
Yes. Your Sinopé water leak detector will sound an alarm when it detects water and will automatically close the smart water valve if it is connected to it and the appropriate settings are enabled. However, without an internet connection, you will not receive notifications by email, text message*, or push notification.
*Note: If you added your device to the Sinopé Neviweb app before December 15, 2021, you have access to SMS alerts. However, if you eventually decide to disable SMS alerts, there is no going back. You will therefore only receive push notifications and email alerts.
