What happens if I change my thermostat's setpoint
temperature
using another platform during a peak event?
Apple HomeKit, Alexa and Google Assistant change the thermostat setpoint without disabling the Éco Sinopé mode.
Example:
Your room temperature setpoint is 20 °C and the selected Éco Sinopé profile proposes a temperature variation of +2 °C / -2 °C. During the peak period, the new setpoint temperature of your thermostat will be 18 °C.
If you ask Alexa to increase the temperature of your room to 21 °C, the Éco Sinopé mode will change the setpoint according to your profile. The new setpoint will be 19 °C.
Note that at the end of the peak event, your thermostat’s setpoint will be 21 °C.
