Mi-Wi Protocol: Identify a device you have just installed

You have installed all your devices, but don’t know how to identify them in Neviweb? Sinopé Technologies has provided a visual indicator to help you identify your devices.

To identify a Mi-Wi device, you must:

  1. Stand in front of one of the devices you have installed. The Neviweb application must be open on the All Devices screen.

  2. Press the two buttons on the device in front of you. Instantly, one of the devices in the Neviweb application will be surrounded by a halo.

  3. Tap the device on the screen.
  4. Open the settings of the selected device, then assign it a name and a room. This will allow you to easily identify it later.
  5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for all your devices so that they are properly identified in the application.
