Condition of the heating appliance
The thermometer in the Neviweb app represents the status of the heating system. More specifically, it indicates the power used by the system when heating the room. When the thermostat activates the heating system, the thermometer changes from turquoise to red.
The thermostat controls the heating system proportionally to maintain a constant temperature. This means it doesn’t turn the heating system on or off completely. Instead, it tells it to heat the room using only the power needed to maintain the temperature (35% of its capacity, for example). This method prevents large temperature fluctuations.
When it is very cold outside, the heating system may need 80 to 100% of its power to maintain the room temperature.
