What is Ground Fault Protection?

Sinopé electric floor heating thermostats are equipped with ground fault protection (Class A GFCI) of 5 mA.
This protection detects current leaks to ground. When a leak is detected, the device quickly cuts off the electrical power to reduce the risk of electric shock and prevent serious injury.
