How can I test my valve to check that it is working properly?
You can check your valve’s operation by opening or closing it directly using the button, from the Sinopé Neviweb app, or by simulating a leak with a detector. Ensure the valve is powered and that automatic closure is activated. Dry the electrodes after testing to prevent the audible alarm from sounding.
You can check the operation of your valve in several ways:
- Directly on the valve
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open or close the valve.
- From the application
Tap the valve icon in the app to open or close the valve.
- By simulating a leak
Lightly moisten the electrodes of a leak detector to trigger the automatic closure of the valve.
Note: To perform this test, ensure that the setting allowing automatic valve closure upon water detection is enabled in your detector configuration within the Sinopé Neviweb application.
Important:
- Ensure the valve is properly powered before performing a test.
- When testing with a detector, dry the electrodes after the test to avoid keeping the audible alarm active.
