The LED bulb controlled by my smart dimmer is flickering. What should I do?
Flickering of LED bulbs with a Sinopé dimmer can be corrected by adjusting the minimum brightness setting via the Neviweb app. This reduces the dimming range and stabilizes the lighting. If flickering persists, check the compatibility of the dimmable bulbs and gradually increase the minimum brightness setting. Affected models: DM2500ZB, DM2550ZB, DM2500RF.
LED bulbs can sometimes flicker when used with a dimmer switch. This is usually due to compatibility issues or an insufficient brightness level.
Fortunately, our Sinopé dimmers offer a simple and effective solution to correct the situation.
✅ Solution: adjust the minimum intensity
In the Neviweb application , you can modify your dimmer settings to eliminate flicker:
- Open the Neviweb application
- Select your dimmer
- Access the settings
- Increase the minimum intensity value
💡 Why does this work?
By increasing the minimum intensity:
- You reduce the gradation range
- You avoid levels that are too low, where the LED bulbs become unstable.
- You get more stable, flicker-free lighting.
ℹ️ Good to know
Some LED bulbs may be more sensitive than others. If flickering persists, make sure to:
- that the bulb is compatible with dimmer switches (dimmable)
- to gradually increase the minimum intensity until a stable result is obtained
