I have an Evo thermostat. How do I activate the smart features?
The Evo thermostat was developed with the aim of offering customers an evolutive solution allowing them to activate the device’s smart features at any time, if desired.
Customers not served by Hydro-Québec
To activate the smart features, simply:
- Download the Sinopé Neviweb app on your mobile device.
- Add your Evo thermostat to the Sinopé Neviweb app by following the steps in the installation wizard.
- Go to the device page in the app, then tap Activate Now to access the payment portal and upgrade your thermostat (one-time fee).
Customers served by Hydro-Québec
Hydro-Québec customers benefit from free activation of Evo thermostats. As soon as the postal code of the served home is entered into the Sinopé Neviweb application, the smart features of the Evo thermostat will be activated.
