Is it possible to control my gas fireplace with a Sinopé thermostat?
The low voltage Zigbee (TH1400ZB) and Wi-Fi (TH1400WF) thermostats allow remote control of certain gas fireplaces, requiring a relay and a 24 VAC transformer. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician. Sinopé recommends certain relays with integrated transformers and offers an interactive map to find a professional.

- Install a transformer to obtain a 24 VAC power supply.
- Connect the relay to the transformer.
- Connect the wires linking the thermostat to the relay.
- Connect the fireplace control system to the relay.
Recommended relays
Although Sinopé Technologies does not currently sell relays or transformers, our technical team approves the use of the following products:
- Electric heating relay with integrated transformer – Aube Technologies (240 V)
- Relais de chauffage électrique avec transformateur intégré – Aube Technologies (120 V)
