The SETTINGS

Customize the thermostat display in Neviweb

When you have multiple thermostats in the same location, it can be useful to rename your thermostat or assign it to a particular room.

This feature can also be very useful if you use voice assistants like Google Assistant or Alexa.

To do this, you need to access the thermostat settings by pressing the icon in the thermostat screen.

Several other configuration parameters allow you to control the actions that can be physically performed on the thermostat, such as locking the keypad and setting maximum and minimum setpoints.

The floor sensor supplied with compatible Neviweb thermostats is 10 kΩ. If you are replacing a thermostat from another manufacturer, check the sensor’s resistance at 25°C. Our thermostats are compatible with 10 kΩ and 12 kΩ floor sensors at 25°C.

Auxiliary output
Description

Expansion module:
When the electrical load exceeds the thermostat’s capacity, the auxiliary output allows additional power to be added to the system through a TR1310 expansion module.

In “Ambient” mode, the auxiliary output can be used as a 2nd heating stage when the floor has reached its maximum temperature and the setpoint cannot be reached with the floor alone.

2nd floor relay:
When the auxiliary heating is controlled from an electromechanical relay or if the auxiliary heat source is equipped with a fan.

2nd floor SSR:
When the auxiliary heating is an electric resistance (electric baseboard) and is controlled through an electronic relay (SSR).
