Power supply mode

To operate in power supply mode*, set the switch in the « Supply » position.

In power mode supply, the MC3100ZB will draw its power from the connected 5V USB port or from the 12 Vcc or 24 Vac power from the supply terminals.

Battery mode

To operate in battery mode**, set the switch in the « Batt » position. In battery mode, the MC3100ZB does not require an external power supply. Moreover, the device acts as a Zigbee end device and will not repeat any messages in the network.

The device will be less responsive in battery mode than in power supply mode. Sending a signal to and from the MC3100ZB may take up to 10 seconds.

The device acts as a Zigbee end device and will not repeat any messages in the network, both for the power supply mode and the battery mode.

Add your smartmulti-controller to the GT130 gateway

You can now connect your multi-controller to the GT130 gateway.

* Lithium batteries can be used in this mode for critical applications requiring continuous operation even during a power outage. The battery life as backup power supply in the event of a power failure is approximately 12 hours.

** The batteries’ life span is approximately 5 years with normal use.
