Follow the installation steps
Here is a detailed step-by-step guide that will take you through the installation of your smart water leak detector with probe (WL4210S) or with perimeter cable (WL4210C).
Connect the probe or the perimeter cable to the detector.
Attach the detector to a clean surface where there is no risk of immersion. Use the non-permanent adhesive located on the back of the product.
Put down the sensor or attach it to the wall. The electrodes must face the ground.
For the perimeter cable, put it on the ground or place it in the desired location. You can attach it with the supplied fasteners, which can be fastened with screws or the self-adhesive tape.
Test the detector by putting the electrodes or the perimeter cable in contact with a small amount of water (1 tsp). The audible alarm will be activated. Wipe the electrodes or the perimeter cable with a dry cloth to cease the alarm.
